The Body As an Altar.

As the sun sets and the moon begins again, come slip into sacred stillness. This dreamy Taurus flow wraps you in embodiment, desire, and slow ritual. We’ll move, reflect, and set intentions by candlelight. Come dressed in softness. Leave with a heart full.

Sankalpa | Intention

As the moon begins again, as do I —in a sacred cyclical return to self.

FAQ’s

  • Melanie is a 200hr RYT Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher certified by The Yoga Therapy Institute in 2024.

Her classes are designed to be trauma-sensitive, recognizing that trauma can often manifest physically long after an initial traumatic event. She incorporates key trauma-informed principles, such as safety, presence, and choice, into her teaching methodology.

Melanie loves to lead foundational hatha yoga classes, So you can expect simplicity, repetition, ease of movement, and personal choice. Each class typically includes:

    • Pranayama (breathwork): Cultivating calm and creating space within the body.

    • Asana (yoga postures): Gentle, safe movement into and out of poses that build strength and flexibility.

    • Dharana/Dhyana (meditation): Practices to enhance mindfulness and inner awareness.

Melanie's teaching style encourages introspection and body awareness, guiding students to listen to their bodies' signals and sensations, allowing yoga to rejuvenate and restore their energy.

  • This event is open to anyone interested! The space will center the BIPOC guests. All levels of yoga students are welcome.

Please note, the venue location is not wheelchair accessible.

  • You can pay anything between $5 - $25 at ($5 increments) per ticket. The recommended ticket price is $10. One ticket grants entry for one person.

At check-out enter coupon the word ‘PAY’, a dash, then the amount you’d like to pay.

    Example: PAY-15 OR PAY-25, etc.

No code is needed to pay $10.

Thank you for your grace and patience as we try out something new with our pay system!

  • The class or workshop itself! PLUS…

    1. Lemon & Herb Water, Hot Tea and/or Sparkling Water

    2. Use of Yoga Mats, Pillows, Blankets, etc.

    3. Any supplies needed

  • Bring your favorite yoga mat and any props you love to use! — We’ll have a few mats here, but we all may be more comfortable if each person arrives with their own yoga mat.

  • Wear clothes you can move in — Think a spacious stretchy pants, sportswear, a cotton or linen jumpsuit with plenty of room, satin pants, or even a Y2K velour track suit.

  • ⏳Tickets sales end 24-hours prior to all events. If you aren’t able to purchase a ticket, this may be why!

Ending ticket sales 24-hours before every event, helps us to be able to prepare for the class and any needs that our students may be arriving with.

It also means if class needs to be canceled, you will know ahead of time, too. So hopefully, all of our time can be honored in the same way.

  • Prepare to check-in with yourself, to be seen by yourself —fully, gently, tenderly — and to practice radical softness with yourself in community that has a lot of love for you, too.

Pro-Tip: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Your brain and body fuel themselves on hydration and — As a team of ADHD girlies — we all know it’s harder to ground and arrive when dehydrated.
